Housing Resources assists seniors (62 or older) in improving their financial situation by providing reverse mortgage counseling which allows them access the equity in their homes. Senior homeowners can receive counseling on what reverse mortgages are, educated on the advantages and disadvantages, options and provided additional resources.
This program allows seniors to keep their homes by using the equity in their homes to pay off property taxes or other expenses, and allows the elderly to remain independent.
