Help strengthen local neighborhoods – GIVE!
Home ownership helps to build and sustain strong neighborhoods while revitalizing communities.
HRI prepares first-time homebuyers to purchase their homes responsibly by providing education, advocacy and support. We teach new homeowners about the responsibilities of homeownership; provide homeowners with the tools, resources and training to maintain their homes; and help homeowners save their homes from foreclosure.

Homebuyer Education Workshops
Each year HRI educates more than 1500 first-time homebuyers by hosting more than 63 workshops in Milwaukee, Racine and Waukesha Counties. Take advantage of an opportunity to support our group education by sponsoring one of these workshops. Your sponsorship will provide direct programming support while allowing you to reach the communities we serve.

ROXANNE DEFOE FUND
In honor of our late Assistant Executive Director, Roxanne Defoe, Housing Resources Inc will accept in-kind and cash donations for the Roxanne Defoe Fund.
Roxanne was a fearless advocate for underserved people in various arenas, with housing and home ownership being one of her passions. She understood the impact of safe, decent and affordable housing on family’s lives and financial outcomes. Her contributions to HRI directly enhanced the organization’s ability to launch new programs, grow the organization’s team and service areas, as well as tell the organization’s stories of success to partners, funders, and potential clients.
In accordance with the organization’s mission to prepare people for sustainable home ownership and foster financial empowerment, these funds will be used to support HRI programming and to create Welcome Home Kits for new homeowners who purchase using HRI services. These kits will provide our new homeowners with resources, products, and equipment to maintain their new homes.
